A Little about the Coy Clan
Our Schnauzers are a large part of our family.
We are located in Jarrell, Texas just about 30 miles north of Austin. We have four acres of land to play on with our loving animals. We have been here a little over ten years and we love it. We hope to spend several more years in this location. We have lots of room to play and it is a small, loving community. We have been breeding Schnauzers for a short period of time now and we do not have litters often. Although our name indicates that we are a "kennel", we are really casual breeders.
Over the years, we have spent lots of time looking for the perfect companion. During that time we have had many different breeds of dogs and have chosen not to keep them for one reason or another, but we met our match when we acquired our first miniature schnauzer.
In addition to two small human children, we have eight miniature kids with fur. Our schnauzers are members of our family and are truly loved unconditionally. They bring joy to our lives everyday.
Casper was the first schnauzer to join our family as a tiny baby. We acquired him from another breeder in Texas. We soon discovered how affectionate schnauzers were and began our search for a female companion. Shortly thereafter, we found Cocoa. She is truly unique. She loves to play with our kids and proudly shows off her new look when she has been to the “beauty salon”. She is a real DIVA.
We spent a little over a year raising these two delightful youngsters before we stumbled across Hunter. We adopted Hunter from another family as a teenager. It did not take him long to establish his place in our hearts and our family. He enjoys curling up with someone on the couch for a long movie or a nap. Then came Belle, the vocal one of the bunch. Belle is the watchdog. She doesn't take well to strangers and she let's us know right away when new people arrive on the property.
About a year ago, we added two liver pepper babies to our home. Sandy and Chip are our pride and joy; they are growing up well and will produce chocolate babies for you to enjoy in the future. And this year we added two new babies, Jasmine and Buddy. Buddy is a rare find. He is "white chocolate". White Chocolate differs from white because he has a chocolate nose and his pads on his feet are also chocolate. This means that he carries the Liver trait and if bred with a female carrying the liver trait, they may produce liver/chocolate babies. White Schnauzers have black pads and noses and do not usually carry the liver trait, but they do carry for many other colors of the breed. Jasmine is a "parti" female. She has a two tone marking on her body and she carries for this trait. Buddy also carries the parti trait so we hope to breed these two babies in the future and have a beautiful group of parti babies.
We gladly share this experience with others by responsibly reproducing our companions and finding loving homes for each of them. Pets of all kinds require a great deal of time and effort from their human family. Schnauzers love their families and want to be loved and cared for every day. A large part of taking care of your new pet is grooming him or her on a regular basis. You can find groomers in a variety of price ranges so you are sure to find one that fits your budget. And if you are particularly skillful, you may even learn to groom him or her yourself. No matter who you choose to help you keep your dog healthy and well maintained, the most important fact is consistency. It is important for your pet’s caregivers to establish a good relationship with them as well.
If you chose to adopt one of our babies, we hope you find them as lovable and fun as we do.
